About Our School
SRVS NHSS was started in 2003 with a strength of 63 students, with a noble aim to impart high-quality education at a reasonable cost to students belonging to Karaikal district and surrounding rural areas.
The school was upgraded to a middle school in 2006–07, a high school in 2008–09, and a higher secondary school in 2009–10. The present student strength is nearly 1,200, and the school now functions in its own well-equipped building.
As a special feature, existing classrooms have been converted into technology-enabled smart classrooms. From 2010 onwards, the school has achieved the top rank in Class X at the district level and a 100% result in the X standard public examination. Around 50 students have secured 100% marks in Science, and XII standard students have secured 1st and 2nd rank at the district level. In 2022–23, students secured the top position in both HSC and SSLC public exams in Karaikal District.
Among last year's XII standard graduates, around 50 students joined medical college and more than 200 joined engineering colleges.
